DURHAM 4, CENTENNIAL 1

OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham College women's soccer team earned their second win of the week as they defeated the Centennial Colts 4-1 at Vaso's Field.

Brittney Sero played a big role in the Durham victory as she scored bookend goals. Sero would open up scoring at the 14 minute mark while putting an end to any Centennial comeback hopes, scoring again with five minutes left in the game.

Durham freshmen Jade Kurham and Jayme Gautheir scored their first OCAA goals, striking at the 42nd and 64th minute respectively.

Nicole Campbell would score the Colts lone goal 83 minutes into the game.

Veteran Alicia Del Fuoco would go on to earn her second straight win in net for Durham.

2012 OCAA top scorer and all-star Megan Arsenault is still out of the Lords line-up with an injury, as she has missed all three Durham league games.

The Lords move up the OCAA East region standings with a 2-1-0 record while the Colts fall to 0-2-0. Durham's next action is against the Fleming Knights (1-1-0), with the teams squaring off in Peterborough on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
