MCINTOSH ANNOUNCES DURHAM WOMEN'S SOCCER COACHING STAFF

OSHAWA, Ont. - Durham College women's soccer head coach Ramon McIntosh has assembled his coaching staff for the 2014 season. The Lords staff will include Dominic Willock (assistant coach), Mo Bayegan (technical assistant coach), Brandon Frith (fitness and technical assistant coach) and Richard Bucciarelli (fitness coordinator).

Dominic Willock - Assistant Coach

Willock joins the Lords coaching staff with over 18 years of coaching experience, possessing a national diploma, NSCAA advanced national diploma and NSCAA premier diploma.

Willock has extensive expertise working with talent pathway players and student athletes, facilitating growth with a plethora of clubs, guiding players and programs towards success on and off the field. He has served 10 years in the USA, including eight years in Connecticut working with high school and boys and women's soccer organizations alike such as FSA Soccer Plus, Eagle Elite SC, Granby SC, Middletown SC, Northwest Catholic HS, Berlin HS and Suffield HS. He also spent two years in Charlottesville Virginia for SOCA (Soccer Organization of Charlottesville - Albermarle).

McIntosh is confident that Willock is the ideal person to serve as the team's assistant coach. "You need a professional, you need a leader, you need someone who can do the their job and the head coaches job if called upon. No doubt Dominic is that man."

He has served with local clubs including Ajax FC, Mooredale SC, as well as had the great honour of representing our country as a part of the Canadian under 17 national team; participated in CONCACAF qualifying tournament winning a bronze medal; and participated in 1993 Under 17 World Championships in Japan.

Coach Willock holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Hartford and was a two-time NCAA participant (elite eight and first round) 1996-2001.

Mo Bayegan - Technical Assistant Coach and Academic Adviser

Bayegan has over eight years of coaching and technical development experience. He began coaching in Ontario as an assistant coach to Peyvand Mossavat (current head coach of UOIT, former coach and teammate of his with the North York Hearts Azzuri Soccer Club). With the guidance of coach Mossavat, Bayegan was able to take on a head coaching position with the club and was successful in winning multiple awards and championships with his 1993 boy's team.

Bayegan is a fully licensed coerver technical developmental coach, who served as the head technical developmental coach for the Toronto Hawks Soccer Club and has coached with North York Hearts Azzuri's School of Excellence and Vaughan Soccer Clubs. He also served as head coach of the Oshawa Turul Boys (2001), and technical developmental coach with the Oshawa Turul Soccer Club.

"Mo is a talented young coach, who has the technical expertise and experience to greatly benefit each player and the overall development of the program," said McIntosh. "We are fortunate to have a professional of his calibre joining our staff."

Bayegan has served as a doctor and therapist to the Ontario provincial soccer program over the past three years where he has worked intimately with coaches McIntosh, Shane Lammie, other provincial and national team coaches. The time spent with the provincial program has been invaluable, furthering his development and overall abilities as a coach. He looks forward to the new challenges ahead at Durham College and the OCAA/CCAA.

Brandon Frith - Fitness & Technical Assistant Coach

Frith will be joining the Lords this upcoming season as a fitness and technical assistant coach. He has just completed his first year working with the UOIT Ridgebacks women's soccer program in the OUA. He has also recently graduated with an honours degree in kinesiology and a diploma in fitness and health promotion from the University of Guelph-Humber.

At the club level, Frith has served as member of the technical staff at Unionville Milliken Soccer Club for the past three years and currently holds his provincial 'B' licence and NSCAA national diploma.

"Brandon's experience in the OUA and his background in player development will serve as essential contributions to the program moving forward," said McIntosh. "His dedication and commitment to his team, his craft and the game of soccer will help propel the program towards success."

Richard Bucciarelli - Fitness Coordinator

Bucciarelli, BKINE, CSEP-CEP, CSCS, CK, is a soccer fitness coach and president of Soccer Fitness Inc., a soccer-specific strength and conditioning company in Toronto.

He has worked as a soccer fitness coach with the UOIT Ridgebacks women's soccer team since its inception in 2011, and helped guide the team to a playoff berth in its inaugural season in 2012. Bucciarelli has also been the fitness coach for the U17 Canadian women's national soccer team, which won a CONCACAF silver medal in 2012 and earned a quarter-final appearance at the 2012 FIFA women's U17 World Cup; as well as the Toronto FC Academy, comprising some of the most talented U14-U21 players in the province of Ontario.

"Richard is one of the leading young professionals in the soccer fitness/sports conditioning industry and adds invaluable expertise and experience to our environment," said McIntosh. "Richard and I have worked together over the past 10 years at the club, provincial and OUA/CIS levels. We have entrusted the strength conditioning program with who we feel is the best candidate for the position."

Bucciarelli has extensive background and experience in both training and coaching soccer players of all ages and levels of ability. A certified kinesiologist, he also holds certifications with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CEP), National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), and the American Council on Exercise (CPT, CLWM). In addition to his many qualifications in soccer fitness training, Bucciarelli is also an avid soccer coach. A graduate of York University's coaching certification program, he also holds an Ontario provincial 'B' license, as well as United States national 'A' and 'Y' licenses in coaching.
