ANCASTER, Ont. - The Mohawk women's soccer team blanked winless Redeemer 3-0.

Rachelle DeJong opened the scoring at the quarter hour mark and just two minutes later Gabrielle Krebs made it 2-0 for Mohawk.

The score remained that way through the first half. Then Laura Stankovic scored the Mountaineers' third and final marker in the 57th minute.

Stephanie Rasic and Jessica Campbell shared the goalkeeping duties for Mohawk.

With the victory, their second straight, the Mountaineers upped their record to 4-3 and are solidly positioned in third place in the West Division with 12 points.
